10 Amazing Hotels You Need To Visit Before You Die

No place in Switzerland can give you an exceptional view from the central Switzerland to the snow caped rocky landscape as in the Alpstein range. To reach up to here first you need to start from the Wasserauen station and lead towards the steep path to Seealpsee. This is a lake in the Alpstein range. From here you need to climb up the extremely challenging and steep mountain path from Seealpsee to the Äscher.

“The Buddha Tree” – Ayutthaya, Thailand – Tashi Delek – Featured Photographer

Wow! Man and nature fused together as one.  Just an hour outside of Bangkok lays the historic city of Aytthaya.  Many of the 14th century temples and wats were destroyed by the Burmese in the 18th century.  Out of the destruction has risen an unexpected national treasure.  It is unclear how the Buddha head ended up inside the roots of this tree, but it has become a symbol of Thailand.  Tashi Delek captured the deity along with his offerings beautifully.

Please take a minute to study the intricacies of the photograph then view the rest of Tashi’s portfolio at http://500px.com/the22row .

Take it Away Tashi:

I took this photo at a temple called “Wat Phra Mahathat” in Ayutthaya, Thailand.

This temple is where you can spot the famous tree that has grown around a Buddha head.

Unique art exhibit to see in 2012

What is Art? Art can be just about anything that is arranged in such a manner to entice ones senses. Of course, not everyone will have the same taste in art, but it is definitely something people travel distances for, whether to show their own pieces or view other artists work.

Yesterday a very unique exhibit started in London. Art by Animals showing at UCL’s Grant Museum of Zoology. A logging elephant from Thailand named Boon Me will be exhibiting a painting of a flowerpot.

Artwork featured at the exhibit will include pieces created by elephants, gorillas, chimps, and orangutans. The exhibit will last until March 9th, 2012.

Top Cities for best street food

Probably the best way to decide which street vendors to approach for food are the ones with the long lines.

In San Francisco the Tamale Lady is known for coming into bars with her wonderful Tamale’s.  I’ve had my fill of those amazing tamales. To top it off Virginia (Tamale Lady) is always a pleasure to visit with and she remembers people too. So if visiting San Francisco and at a bar don’t hesitate trying the Tamale Lady’s food. She’s an icon in the Bay area.
