Berkeley Hills Spa off of Highway 13 – massage giveaway
I have decided to re-blog this entry because soon we will be giving away a FREE massage at this spa. If you’re like me you will love this place. I did and was amazed by it and wish I had more time to relax when I had this massage. Be sure to show up an hour or so prior to your massage experience.
I will be letting you know when we have things in place for the giveaway.
For over 20 years I have practiced massage myself and can tell you that I can be picky about the bodywork I receive. Everyone here was wonderful and the massage experience I had was delightful.
Keep tuned in…
Nestled up to the Berkeley Hills is an oasis off of highway 13, The Claremont Hotel Club & Spa. Scenic views of the San Francisco Bay are wondrous.
The Spa Claremont is a treat in itself. It’s probably a great idea to show up at least one hour before your bodywork treatment. The facility has some really spectacular amenities you can enjoy before and after your massage. It is a great way to revitalize.
Some amenities include: Spa Hydrotherapy Circuit (Spa Ritual); Deluge shower, Swiss therapy showers, Eucalyptus steam room and Jacuzzi.
The Spa Ritual is included with all Spa services. Monday through Thursday The Spa Ritual services are available to Salon guests. The services are available 2 hours before getting your hair or nails done. It’s a free service available to you that you won’t want to miss.

Saquisili Indigenous Market – Ecuador
Colourful, full of activity, a place to head to for llama hair jumpers to keep the chill off at night and a must for the photographer. Buses can be taken from the city of Latacunga (nr park national cotapaxi) – set out early though the locals all head for this market as well.

Checked off – Cherry blossoms
Last week after work, Noah and I took the metro downtown to see the Cherry Blossoms by the Tidal Basin. The past Spanish colonial influence combined with the vivid Mayan culture and tradition of brilliant colors reflect deeply throughout Guatemala, especially in the Highlands. Xela is the heart of the Mayan culture and community. If you take a walk around her lovely, hilly streets you will be reminded of her past, present and future. You can see it reflected in the lovely colors of the buildings. Some of which are on their fourth generation of color.
Come….take a walk with me through the streets of Xela and experience all the joy that color can bring to the soul.
Looking up to the hills. A typical street in Xela lined in ancient foot-burning cobblestones and a gorgeous splash of color.
From golden yellows to turquoise blues the colors never cease to inspire me and…
